I came across this 1999 press cutting from the Huddersfield Examiner which I thought might be of interest to readers. It looks like the green is Waterloo and it looks like the trophy being held aloft is The Examiner Rose Bowl. The records show that the 1999 winner of the Rose Bowl was Springwood bowler Robert Armitage.
I am reliably informed that the Examiner caption has named Eric Wike and Bob Armitage incorrectly and their names need swapping around.
