The 2024 Lindley BC £3,200 open competition is up and running with last night's first qualifying round played before an encouraging number of spectators. They witnessed last year's runner-up, Gareth Coates giving an impressive display to move smoothly through to become the first Finals Night qualifier. He is joined by Crosland Moor bowler, Ian Booth and they will both reconvene for Finals Night on Friday 26 July.
