Review of the Division 8 fixtures played at Lockwood Con on Wednesday 4 December
It was a good Tuesday for Golcar C&BC for as well as extending their lead at the top of the Division 8 table they also won the meat board raffle. They clocked up another 8-0 victory when playing struggling Kirkheaton C&BC B and that enabled the leaders to extend their lead at the top to 14 points as second placed Cowcliffe C were pushed all the way by Lockwood C before triumphing 2-6 with a 48-44 aggregate score key in determining the points allocation.
There was another 8-0 scoreline when Holmfirth made it two wins on the bounce when seeing off Linthwaite Hall B. Mirfield B and Broad Oak B were locked together on 20 points before the start of the day and a 4-4 draw ensured that they finished the day still locked together in mid-table.
