The answer to Sunday's poser all revolves around Meltham. The team is the Meltham Veterans 10-Man League 'A' team who extended to become a 12-man team to compete in the national Veterans Super Cup. After winning the Yorkshire qualifying competition to progress through to the semi-finals where they were eliminated after going down by an aggregate 24 points to their opponents. The year was 1991 and culminated in a good spell for the team after they had lifted the Huddersfield Veterans League title two years on the trot.
