Preview of the 10-Man League Divisions 1 & 2 fixtures for Tuesday 2 July
With the top four Division 1 teams all facing away fixtures this week it opens up the opportunity for Golcar Lib A to move into closer contention with a home match against Rastrick who sit in the second relegation place at present.
Netherton Con A will be looking to build on their first win of the season two weeks ago and could have done without a week off so will have to pick themselves up again away at Lockwood Con A this Tuesday.
The top three teams in Division 2 all have home fixtures with the most difficult looking one of those is the Lindley Lib A v Golcar Lib B. Meltham look the most consistent of the three main contenders with only one defeat all season and a 12-point lead at present.
At the foot of the table Broad Oak A and Almondbury Lib are in danger of becoming seriously adrift with already a 10-point gap to safety. With Broad Oak B away at second-placed Elland C&BC and Almondbury Lib hosting a Shepley team that has won their last three matches there seems little encouragement for either team.
