There has been a revamp of the BCGBA Champion-of-Champions competitions after a major review. There will now be 64 instead of 32 qualifiers going into the opening round of the 2025 competition. The following 64 competitions will see the winners automatically qualifying for the Round of the Last 64.
Should any bowler qualifier more than once by winning a second or more qualifying competitions then there is a reserve list of a further 17 competitions which will be taken in order to fill any vacancies created by multiple wins by any bowler.
The dates of the 2025 competition have not been released yet but the 2024 competition was held on the last weekend in September. The venue is expected to once again be the Owley Wood Recreation Centre in Northwich.
