The Yorkshire Senior Men's County team will begin their 2025 season on Sunday 4 May when they take on Derbyshire. This is the first of a Round Robin qualifying draw which matches the Yorkshire team in a three-team section also involving Derbyshire and Shropshire. Only one of the three teams will progress through to the semi-finals.
Yorkshire lost in the 2024 Final to Warwick & Worcester and will be aiming to go one better this time around. However this will be a real challenge when the opening round against Derbyshire will give the Yorkshire team a first opportunity to avenge a shock semi-final defeat in 2023 against the same opponents. It doesn't get any easier as only if they win that match will the Yorkshire team get a second tie and if that happens they will be in a rerun of the 2022 Final against Shropshire which they won.
