Veterans League
The draw has been made for the opening rounds of the 2025 Bistro KO competition. All 60 of the Veterans League teams go into the draw with the format the traditional 5 pairs with aggregate scores determining the winners.
The holders Kirkheaton Con A take on Division 2 side Denby Dale with the majority of the neutral greens now announced. Last year's runners-up, Longwood, have a Preliminary Round bye and will face fellow Division 1 side, Golcar Lib A, in the Round of the Last 32.
An inter-club clash sees the Marsh Lib teams drawn against each other in the Preliminary Round on the Longwood green. This seems to be a deviation from recent practice of inter-club clashes being staged on the club green. There is still time for that to happen as the Marsh Lib green hasn't been allocated a match for that date.
Rastrick have already withdrawn from this competition as is the usual practice and another couple of withdrawals are likely before the playing dates.
