Division 4 top two lose as Linfit go top

Winter League

Review of Monday's Division 4 results from Primrose Hill Lib and a few photos

Linthwaite Hall hammered the leaders, Netherton Con A, with a whitewash scoreline of 8-0 to take over top spot from their rivals. And I mean hammered as none of the Netherton Con team reached double figures and they join a trio of other teams on the 12-points marker. A four-place drop to 5th place was a harsh outcome for a first defeat of the season but once you hit the top spot you are there to be shot at. Now that is what is facing the Linthwaite side.

Second in the table, Rastrick, also lost for the first time but they hang on to that second place as their conquerors, Slaithwaite, are only 2-points behind them with a game in hand. Primrose Hill Lib won for the first time this season in real style beating Milnsbridge B 8-0 and move up to 3rd place from second from the bottom after their first win of the season.

Milnsbridge BC B drop into bottom spot as Thorpe Green B shared the points with Dalton to move up a place. A 52-51 aggregate scoreline gave Dalton the bonus points to squeeze 4 points from the match after losing the two singles.
