Four 6-2 results means no change in Division 6

Winter League

Review of the Division 6 matches played at Netherton Con on Thursday 5 December

The top two teams in Division 6 both had 6-2 wins on Thursday to protect the 6 points gap between Mirfield A and the leaders Almondbury BC B. Mirfield's win being all the more commendable as it was over Brockholes B who stay in third place despite a first defeat in four matches.

Almondbury BC B beat Outlane and Huddersfield Recreation Club A won the meeting of the bottom two teams with another 6-2 scoreline as they saw off New Mill C who still await their first win of the season.

Springwood C also had a 6-2 win and that left Netherton Con B in the drop zone and included a remarkable come back win for Chris Windle. He was 1-15 down after 12 ends but turned the game right around to run out a 21-19 winner.
