Review and photos from Tuesday's Division 8 fixtures at Lockwood Con
Week 2 of Division 8 fixtures at Lockwood Con saw a real mixture of scorelines with two 8-0 outcomes along with a 4-4 draw and the regulation 6-2 final score. One of the whitewash scorleines saw the host team, Lockwood Con C, collect their first win of the season when they saw off Kirkheaton C&BC B. Golcar C&BC were the other 8-0 winners and that win over Broad Oak B was sufficient to send the Golcar team to the top of the table.
The 4-4 draw involved Holmfirth and Mirfield B which means that the Mirfield team remain unbeaten whilst Holmfirth drew closer to their first win of the season. Cowcliffe C completed the list of winners with a 6-2 success over Linthwaite Hall B and go second as a result.
