Veterans League
Graham Hirst held on to his Rose Bowl winner's title after beating Garry Senior in the Final at Netherton Con yesterday. The same two bowlers had met in a League match on Tuesday when Garry won 21-18 but Graham is becoming a bit of a specialist in this competition and held on to his title with a convincing scoreline.
Paul Rangeley again sponsored the competition and presented the trophy and winner's cheque to the Lowerhouses bowler who was winning the title for a second consecutive year.
