At Lindley BC it is not just a 5-minute job when one of the floodlights needs a bulb change it is much more complicated than that. It isn't just the old gag about how many men does it take to change a light bulb but how much effort is required to complete the task. The answer is only one man of course as supported by this photographic evidence. I am grateful to the club for these two photos, one from the bottom looking up and one from the top looking down as a record of the experience.
However, when the man did go up to replace the bulb he found that squirrels had actually bitten through the electrical cabling and suddenly it became a much bigger job.
Send me your club photographs about anything.
No offence taken Eddie and I put my neck on the online every year in forecasting divisional outcomes and every year I get lots of them wrong. It is just an attempt to create some interest in league bowling and I am always pleased to see 'no-hopers' proving me wrong. Congratulations on ending Slaithwaite's unbeaten run but they will still walk that division as forecast. Good luck to you for the rest of the season. Pleased you like the website.

This is meant to be a bit of fun & very definitely not a criticism of your excellent site. After writing us off as no hopers in your summery of Division C in the 6 man vets. I am happy to state that we sent Slaithwaite home after inflicting a 5-2 defeat on them & ending there unbroken winning run. Bragging Rights to Holmfirth. Eddie Armitage
