Jim Baxter tells me that there appears to be a number of vacant slots in the usual busy winter season of indoor bowling at The Dome on Leeds Road. He goes on to say
As a group of us bowl at the Dome on Leeds Road each Friday I have noticed it is not as busy as in previous winters. I have been told by Kirklees sports centre staff that there are hire times available on most days of the week. If anyone is interested in indoor crown green bowling call at the sports centre on Leeds road for further details.
Opening Times:
Monday to Thursday: 9am to 10pm
Friday: 9am to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday: 9am to 8pm
The KMC website provides the following set of charges.
Hourly sessions cost:
£2.60 for adults with Kirklees Active Leisure (KAL) card
£3.10 for adults without KAL card
£1.30 for juniors with Kirklees Active Leisure (KAL) card
£1.55 for juniors without KAL card
