Keith BEAUMONT
On the 15th November 2024, after a short illness bravely fought, peacefully in the excellent care of Kirkwood Hospice, Keith aged 74 years of Meltham and formerly Lockwood.
The beloved husband of the late Marie, dearly loved dad of Samantha, father in law of Chris and proud and devoted grandad of Lily.
Funeral service at Huddersfield Crematorium on Wednesday 11th December at 2.00pm.
Family flowers only please. Donations if wished may be given for Kirkwood Hospice c/o Radcliffe Funeral Service, 16 Westgate, Honley, Holmfirth, HD9 6AA or online at radcliffefuneralservice.co.uk - obituaries. A donation box will be available at the service. Will friends please accept this intimation and meet at the Crematorium.

Sad to report the passing of yet another local bowler and highly regarded individual, Keith Beaumont, who was a long-standing member of the highly successful Lockwood Con teams.
Keith 'Bo' Beaumont was the goalkeeper of the Lockwood Cons football team of his era and along with the rest of the team progressed through to bowling when the legs got too old to stand the pace.
He was a one-club man playing for a number of the club's bowling teams including the Subscription Cup team for many years.
Eventually progressing through to the Veterans League team where he was a valued pairs specialist of the seven-times consecutive winners (2014-2021) of the Veterans League Division 1 title.
Keith was a good friend to many, remembered with great affection for his smiling manner and good company and will be sadly missed by his family and many sporting colleagues.
Michael Armitage
As previously reported Hanging Heaton bowler Michael Armitage passed away on 1 November. The family had a private cremation on Thursday. There's going to be a celebration of his life at Hanging Heaton cricket and bowling club next Thursday night the 28 November.
