Can Liam Griffin become the first bowler to claim a hat-trick of Kirkheaton Con '64 titles when he defends his 2023 success this year? Liam has previously claimed the title in 2017 and only he and Callum Wraight have two such successes to their names in the 9-year history of this competition.
Liam isn't in the first qualifying round which takes place this coming Friday with a 7.00pm start time. There are no former winners of the competition in the first qualifying round but it is still a strong field headed by Jack Dyson and Simon Coupe.
