After 6 weeks of Saturday club member-only competitions with 6 different winners there were the 16 top performers that qualified for the Finals Day staged on Bank Holiday Sunday.
A full day of competition on a gloriously warm and sunny day, a very good green and top class bowling with Josh Brown and Danny Kilburn reaching the final. Even then the tension was tight as Josh eventually ran out a 21-20 winner to take the £100 first prize.

The competition became known as the Super League as it was formed at the same time as the European Super Football League was announced and publicised but it lasted longer than its European namesake and has actually seen a lot of action as well. It came about to fill the gap created by the delay to the start of Saturday bowling and consisted of 6 separate KO competitions with points awarded for each stage that bowlers progressed through. Then the top 16 point scorers progressed to a straight KO competition on Finals Day. The full scoreboard of the final stages is below.
The internal club competitions continue next Saturday with the Dyson Pairs KO.
