The first eight qualifiers for Finals Day of the 2023 Jack Burgin Trophy competition came through the 24 entries who played at Lockwood Con on Friday evening. Affectionately known as the MUGS Trophy as it is only open to any bowler who has never won an open competition before.
Another qualifying session next Friday evening with the Finals Day being at Lockwood Con on Sunday 20 August starting at 2.00pm.
The first eight qualifiers are Bradley Ramsden (Almondbury Lib), Lewis Turton (Lindley BC), Phil Battye (Dalton), Steve Lunn (Waterloo), Chris Gamble (Kirkheaton Con), Zinedine Ayub (Lowerhouses), Elliott Heap (Broad Oak) and Ross Mallinson (Crosland Moor).
