Name the Green: No.1

Bowling News

Name the Green is back with a new twist with this 3-a-day version to challenge you all.

Three photos of three different greens - Name them!

That's all that there is to it.

Then send me your answers and I will let you know how many you got correct. Today's threesome are the easy ones aimed at grabbing your interest!

Under no circumstances do you add your guesses to the Comments field at the foot of this posting or post on any social media platform as this spoils the fun for others that are following you.

All the greens are from clubs you find in the Huddersfield or Heavy Woollen leagues. No prizes but every time you get all three correct then you get a mention. Can't wait.

C: Small part of a green

Some of these you may have seen before in previous annual competitions but we are all of an age whenever the memory isn't so good so just think of them as a new challenge. But there are some new ones hidden among the week's parade of greens and rollers.

Let's start you off with three comparatively easy greens to identify. Well it's easy for me because I'm looking at the answers but they are certainly going to get much more difficult over the coming days. However there aren't too many clubs with two greens so you will soon have a shortlist to work from on this first green. Another set of three to test your local knowledge tomorrow.
