Review of the results in Division 5 on Wednesday at Lindley Lib
Paddock I&C fared best in their bottom-of-the-table clash with fellow strugglers, Springwood B, when coming out on top 6-2 and so moved out of the relegation places. Almondbury BC A took their place after losing 2-6 to Jackson Bridge which enabled the victors to keep the second promotion place to themselves. In fact the top five teams remain in the same order that they were before this week's matches started and still the same 6-points between 2nd and 6th.
Lindley Lib C carried on regardless with a 6-2 win over Elland WMC which preserved their 10-points lead over the rest of the pack which now shows 5 teams within 6 points of each other and all retaining a real interest in proceedings. Elland WMC are certainly in that pack as are Kirkheaton C&BC A despite being shocked to lose to Milnsbridge C 2-6.
