An off day for Thongsbridge as they went out at the Quarter-Final stage of the World Club Championships held at Heaton Park, Manchester on Sunday but the title still came back to Yorkshire. A better day for the 2021 Champions as Pudsey went on to lift the trophy for a second time with commanding performances in all three matches on Finals Day.
Thongsbridge were well beaten by the North Lancs & Fylde representatives Parkfield Labour who were themselves eliminated in the Semi-Finals by Pudsey who won all 8 games for a 168-84 scoreline. Pudsey continued their fine form in the Final to beat Warwick & Worcester side Greville Arms by 161-131 so congratulations to them.
