The Saturday League voted at their annual meeting on Monday evening to retain the neutral greens format which has been around for many years. There has been a movement to alter that over the last few years which may have reached its peak last year when a change failed by one vote to move to a Home & Away fixture programme basis.
All 42 clubs were represented at the meeting and there was one abstention with the vote 22-19 in favour of remaining with fixtures playing on neutral greens and nowhere near the two-thirds majority required to introduce any change to the Bye-Laws.
