Slaithwaite go top of Division 4

Winter League

There was only one Division 4 fixture played this week but that was sufficient for Slaithwaite to catch up on a postponed fixture with the outcome securing them the top of the table position. Their fixture against Thorpe Green B had been postponed as the previous date clashed with the funeral of a Thorpe Green club member.

Taking advantage of a blank week in the Division 4 programme to share the spoils 4-4 with their opponents and go top of the updated table. That lead is the narrowest possible with just one 'Aggregate For' chalk difference in Slaithwaite's favour over Linthwaite Hall A. That result saw the last Division 4 100% win record go after only three matches played by all eight teams.

With all three games on the green at the same time there was only a handfull of spectators present to witness the outcome but Mike Ralph was among them and he sent me nine photos from the Monday morning fixture which are added below.
