Memories
This series of memories recalling the first 21 years of the 21st century takes a bit of a detour now due to a lack of records available after 2006. There are no copies of the Huddersfield Examiner in the British Press Records after 2006 and the unique personal records that Peter Muff gave me also end around the same time.
I have my own records but they don't start until 2017 and they will be selectively added over the coming days but first there is a lot of information available about the bowling history of the local leagues from 2000 to 2006 which is worth adding to fill this gap.
So lets dip back to the year 2000 to pick up the story of bowling in Huddersfield at the start of the new Millennium as the Huddersfield Bowling Association announces two new team handicap Millennium KO competitions.
