Sunday is Finals Day in the 2025 Winter Cup at Netherton Cons starting at 1.00pm. The full draw is below with a new name on the trophy now inevitable. Eight bowlers will contest the quarter-finals. We will be playing right through to the final and a new name on the trophy. Last year the latter stages of the competition were dominated by lady bowlers but no repeat this year with an all-male competition from the Round of the Last 16.

This competition has become known as the 'Armband Final' as in each game one of the bowlers will wear a coloured armband as indicated on the chart above and in the full programme. Thiis is solely to help spectators identify all the bowlers on the green at any one time. The scoreboards will be in use and again they will be colour coded to help spectators (and bowlers) keep up to date with everything that is happening on the green.

Ray Tunnacliffe is the matchday referee. The forecast is for sun all day so come along and taste a knock-out competition where the spectator is as important as the bowlers on the green.
All bowlers are reminded that they need to conform with the BCGBA dress code of collared shirts and black trousers, In addition, anyone wanting to collect their Lindley Lib Party tickets can do so at Netherton Con on Sunday when I will be in attendance.
