Winter Cup Finals Day on Sunday

Sunday is Finals Day in the 2025 Winter Cup at Netherton Cons starting at 1.00pm. The full draw is below with a new name on the trophy now inevitable. Eight bowlers will contest the quarter-finals. We will be playing right through to the final and a new name on the trophy. Last year the latter stages of the competition were dominated by lady bowlers but no repeat this year with an all-male competition from the Round of the Last 16.

Ray Tunnacliffe is the matchday referee with only one bowler coming out to claim the trophy donated by the Kirkheaton Con pair of Garry Senior and Tony Butterfield. This is the fourth running of the competition, with the three previous winners being Steve Haigh (2022), Ian Briggs (2023) and Julie Mallinson (2024). All bowlers are reminded that the BCGBA dress code of collared shirts and black trousers is mandatory on the day.
