Interested to see that the ban on smoking on the green has now been extended by the BCGBA to cover nicoteen inhalers as decided at the Rules Revision meeting in January.

Add the words “nicotine inhaler” by amending the first sentence to read -
'Smoking, vaping, the use of an electronic cigarette and/or a nicotine inhaler is not allowed whilst participating in the game of Crown Green Bowls.'

Put that alongside this press cutting I found from the West Lancashire Evening Gazette from January 2001 when smoking on the green was still permitted.
