This coming Sunday (16 June) the Yorkshire Ladies play their second match in the 2024 BCGBA Senior Ladies Championship and it is a match they cannot afford to lose. After losing their opening Section match in the 3-team Round Robin to Shropshire by 401-414, they need to win both of their remaining matches and hope that Shropshire slip up.
This Sunday's match is against the Section 2 leaders, Warwick & Worcester who beat Dudley & District 448-362 in the other opening round fixture. Failure to win that match will almost certainly eliminate the Yorkshire team from this year's competition.
The teams for this Sunday's matches have been finalised and published. The Yorkshire home leg will be played at Longwood BC whilst the Away team travel to play at Woodman Saltwells BC, Dudley.
